Enjoy these pictures from our original opening in 2010. Be sure to notice the changes since the gardens inception.  Painted ladies are friendlier than Monarchs and Gatorade on the hand helps!!!  Well, maybe they aren't friendlier after all, these ones like to make themselves at home ON our visitors.  |
 Trying to have a Monarch perch on her finger one of our participants patiently waits with some nectar( Gatorade) on her finger. She was able to cajole the Painted Ladies but not the Monarch.   |
